Congregation Zera Avraham
Congregation
Zera Avraham (CZA) is a warm and welcoming orthodox shul located on the west
side of Denver, Colorado, two blocks from Sloan's Lake and about 10 minutes
from downtown. The community is
led by our distinguished Rov, Rabbi Yehuda Cahan .
Daily shachris minyanim are held at 6:10 AM (M-Th), 6:20 AM (T, W, F) and 6:30 AM (Sunday) and at 7:30 AM (daily). For our schedule of services on Shabbos, times for Mincha/Maariv and our various shiurim, including Daf Yomi, please consult the current shul newsletter.
Congregation Zera Avraham is the oldest Orthodox synagogue in the State of Colorado. Our articles of incorporation were filed in the City of Denver (then part of Arapahoe County) in 1889 under the name "Zehhra Abraham".
Our west side community is also home to several Torah institutions, including the Beth Jacob High School located at 5100 West 14th Avenue; Yeshiva Toras Chaim and The Jewish Experience, both located at 1555 Stuart Street; and the Denver Community Kollel, located 1516 Xavier Street - all of which are within about a 5 minute walk from our shul.
Whether you are just passing through town or are considering moving to Denver, we invite you to come visit our shul and community.
